Emergency Services

The Embassy can assist U.S. citizens needing urgent assistance on a walk-in basis, but please call or email in advance whenever possible to avoid delays.  You can reach us at +355(0)42247285 or at

Arriving at the Embassy

The Consular entrance is at the rear of the Embassy.  Please bring your appointment confirmation page and a photo ID to speed entry.  Only person seeking consular services will be admitted, with the exception of parents accompanying a child or those providing assistance to a disabled customer.

Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not allowed in the Embassy.  To speed security screening, please try not to bring strollers, large bags, backpacks, suitcases, or packages to the consular section.

Visa Concerns and Inquiries

The American Citizen Services unit does not work with visa matters, does not have access to visa records, and cannot answer visa questions.  Please direct visa-related inquiries to the Embassy's Visa Section.
