U.S. Thanks Albania for Hurricane Relief Assistance (Sept. 22, 2005)

The United States expresses its sincere gratitude to the Albanian government for the generous contribution of $300,000 in relief assistance for the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina in the southern United States.

This contribution is further evidence of the close friendship that exists between Albania and the United States. Once again we thank Albanians for their generosity in the wake of this terrible natural disaster.
