U.S. Military Visit Heralds Further Bilateral Cooperation (May 16, 2005)

Tirana - Rear Admiral Donald P. Loren met today with Major General Luan Hoxha, Deputy Chief of General Staff for first-ever joint bilateral staff talks. Discussions focused on encouraging coordination and cooperation between the two countries.

While in Tirana, the Admiral met with Minister of Defense Majko, and Chief of General Staff Lt. General Qazimi.

Rear Admiral Loren is the Deputy Director for Politico-Military Affairs (Europe, NATO, Russia, and Africa) on the U.S. military Joint Staff located in Washington, D.C.
