Renew Your U.S. Passport

This procedure should be done by appointment only, unless your departure is imminent.

Your most recent U.S. passport:

• Is undamaged and can be submitted with your application;
• Was issued when you were age 16 or older;
• Was issued within the last 15 years;
• Was issued in your current name or you can legally document your name change.
  

1. If all of the above is true, please submit Form DS-82, Application for a U.S. Passport by Mail, and the passport application fee at the time of your appointment.
   
   
2. If one of the above is not true, please follow the instructions here to renew your U.S. passport.
