Although the practitioners have been selected with care the Embassy cannot assume responsibility for their professional ability or integrity. Crisis counseling and recognition of sexual or domestic violence is new to Albania, but most of these practitioners have been trained abroad.

Anxhela has worked with survivors of domestic violence in Albania and has built competence in clinical counseling through her MA in the US. She has also qualified as a psychotherapist through her training with the Austrian based European Association for Psychotherapy.
