Credit Card Acceptance for Fee Payments
9/1/2011: As of September 1, 2011, U.S. Embassy Tirana accepts credit card payments for the full range of American Citizen Services (including passport services and CRBA applications), adoption fees, and the majority of services relating to the Department of Homeland Security (excluding waiver application fees.)

Filing Form I-130 for an Immigrant Visa by a U.S. Citizen
08/10/2011: As of August 15, 2011, U.S. citizens residing overseas can no longer be able to routinely file Forms I-130, Petitions for Alien Relative, with U.S. Embassies and Consulates except in locations where U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has a public counter presence within the Embassy or Consulate.

Photocopy Fee Notice and Its Requirements
4/7/2011: As of April 18th, 2011, any applicant who does not bring photocopies as instructed on the application information page will be charged $1 per photocopy page that our office will need to make to complete your application per the Consular Affairs Fee Schedule.
