Filing Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative)
Effective March 20, 2007, the U.S. Consular Section in Tirana, Albania will accept petitions for immediate relative immigrant classification from American citizens who are resident in our consular district.
If you are a U.S. citizen resident in Albania, you may file Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) with our office at the U.S. Embassy in Tirana for the following categories: spouse, child under age 21, or parent of an American citizen over age 21. Please note that other limitations may apply. You need to prove to the interviewing consular officer that you have been residing in Albania for at least the past six months by providing a Permission of Stay issued by the Albanian Ministry of Interior.

U.S. citizen resident in the United States, you must file Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) office in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with jurisdiction over your place of residence in the United States.
