U.S. Embassy Statement on Southern Ammunition Company (SAC) March 19, 2008
 
In the aftermath of the Gërdec explosions, the U.S. Embassy learned of the existence of the American company, Southern Ammunition Company, Inc. (SAC) of South Carolina.  It is our understanding that the Prosecutor General’s Office as part of its investigation will look into SAC’s possible role in the tragedy.  The U.S. Embassy will do everything in its power to assist the Prosecutor General’s investigation.
